| Carina and Stren hosted a 3 day wedding event on Lopez Island at a private residence. I will be blogging each day separately as it unfolded! They welcomed guests on August 7th, 2009 with a sweet barn shindig. As the barn packed in more guests, the hoe down began! It kicked off with tunes from an accordian and flutes and some rambling guy who talked faster than most people can run. You can see here, the dress code called for western threads and spurs. I had the pleasure of working with many of my favorite Seattle wedding professionals, all of whom I will list on the part 2 of this 3 part series! Check back for more over the holidays!

| A note on square dancing, its mega tough to do, much less photograph! I was having a blast watching them do-si-do and fly down the aisles linking arms. Who knew it was Seattle....

| As the night wore on, the bride escaped on a go cart with the biggest flash light in existence. It could've weighed 25lbs. Lopez Island is mostly uncharted, but nicely so! It made for an exciting lodging, eating, and travel experience. By far the most exciting night of my life at a destination wedding. A little bat flew around my room around 11pm and encored around midnight. Bats are cool.
