SFO airport! This place stole my heart overnight. It was the first time I've been able to dig my heels in to the city.
Who knew there was a restaurant called The Tipsy Pig in Cow's Hollow with delicious Watermelon salad covered in saffron? Honey Lavendar ice cream and Margherita pizza made my taste buds sizzle to infinity. What's the best flavor? I wanted to taste them all. Would have loved to shoot the gay pride parade, but we left the night before. Pooh! Enjoy this little snapshot from the hip from a lovely airport.

Karissa and John tied the knot in San Francisco last Thursday, here is a quick shout out to them while in the Bahamas! Woot! Woot! Thanks to Luke Goodman for 2nd shooting with me, the four of us had a blast!
I actually went to Heidelberg High School with John back in the 90's (OMG I'm old!). John and Karissa exchanged vows underneath the GG Bridge and sealed the deal at the Marine Club Hotel. I'm very honored to have been part of their celebration. To my good friends John & Karissa, Happy Honeymoon!
As a side note, John and Karissa's wedding was the final destination wedding for 2010. You can hear me exhaling loudly. My suitcase is parked for several months, just in time for Seattle's weather to perk up for the summer! It feels good to be home for a while, bloggers can expect much more frequent posts and I can regain some kind of regular sleep and eat schedule. Or at least try! Its time to throw a crazy blogfest!! Are you ready for it? Get ready!! You want to see pics of the studio? Do you want to see new websites and marketing pieces? Yes!
Thanks to all of the people who make this an exciting and fulfilling career!

| Justin and Marie were excited to have me on board their wedding train because they love vibrant colors and SO DO I! Here is a mix of Irish and Asian influences carefully woven into the details. It was a fabulous Northwest day, sorta windy, kinda rainy, but in the end, perfectly awesome! Their Portland wedding took place at the West End Theater in the heart of the city. Thank you Marie and Justin for letting me be your Portland wedding photographer. Enjoy some of my favorites from their wedding!

| I love love love her girly shoes and perfect pedi!
|

| As you can see, her bouquet exploded with vibrant flowers and greenery, I wanted to take the bouquet home with me, but Marie wasn't going for that. :-)
|

| Justin is so gentle with Marie, it warms the heart. I caught a glimpse of it during their first look.
|

| As you can see here their invitations were beautiful and uniquely presented. I LOVEd Justin's mini arrangement that included REAL hops. He is a beer lover, this was such a cute gift for him.

| A goodnight kiss in the alleyway. It was a beautiful night, thanks to the happy couple for a fabulous day.

Here's a print for the ladies at Evolution Gym, you'll find it hanging inside their training facility. If you're in Bellevue and your diet needs a kick in the pants, stop by. Bring your inhaler!
What started with Boudoir Photography turned into something even more exciting. Shooting with professional and amateur athletes has taken over so many parts of my life! As a previous swimmer and track runner, sports definately held a big place in my life until I started my biz in 2005. Starting a business is all-consuming. It pulls you away for a couple of years, it can't run without you. Essentially it takes over your life. Can anyone relate? I miss friendly competition and sportsmanship that I used to get on the track and in the pool. My first athlete client in 2008 was Jen Turbull. She has since spread the word in the East Side and helped me reach a new group of people. Seattle is FULL of fitness competitors and health nuts. Who could have guessed?
The owners of Evolution hired me to shoot in Bellevue at their gym. They gave a description of photos that reminded them of old school gyms, no frills, dark lighting, raw dungeon-like setting. They were a blast to shoot for!

| Michelle used to me my size. I saw her "before" pictured and was speechless. These days she is a chiseled bad a$$! Her determination and positive thinking definately impacted me. Most of her friends at the gym say she is a tough girl, but here's what I witnessed, I think its Michelle's softer side. The rope was afterthought. It was laying in the corner and I asked her to get wrapped up in it.
