This will be the week of blog-catch up. It dawned on me that blogging a sneak peek before the phots are finished clogs up my post-processing mojo. Sorry to disappoint! So: rewind to mid-July. Here we are with Jessica + Charlie, their e-session took place @ hello cupcake in Tacoma. Nothing revs my engine like a frosted carrot cupcake! Their wedding took place last weekend at Albee's Garden in Olympia.
Jesse + Charlie are among 4 late-ish bookers for 2008. I was happy to have them scramble in last minute (about 3 months ago) due to some unfortunate stuff with another studio. I am happy to have them and uber-glad everything worked out.

Granted, Tacoma used to be a rough place. FWIW, the city has great lighting from the watefront being so close. Its one biggo reflector. I love the way it kicks in light deep into Jess's gorgeous blue eyes. charlie: you lucky devil!

Just a few thoughts to share:
a) August is REALLy busy. I love to stay busy!!!! 9 photo shoots, 4 weddings down. Still 1/2 month to go.
b) Summer has a few more weekends left. Soak it up!
c) Blogging has taken it in the shorts. More work = slightly less blogging.
d) The more you stress, the more you forget.
e) I LOVE THE 2008 Summer OLYMPICS!!!
f) Woman sues hubby because he gave her a wicked STD. Did you hear about this?
g) We will miss you Bernie Mac & Isaac. Peace.

They married on Summer Solstice in Malibu and not only was it the longest day of the year, it was also one of the hottest: 109 degrees! Ramona is likely my most photographed bride of 2008....she purchased nearly every session on my pricelist and then some. I love ya to pieces!

| Jen turned out a fantastic shoot this week. Its not boudoir, not exactly fashion. Call it delicious. She rocked out a badass hairstyle. Very enjoyable shoot, she's got lots of energy!
